Pros Tip

One of the shorter holes on the golf course, the first is a gentle opener which allows players to focus on positioning the ball rather than distance. Aim to finish down the right-hand side of the fairway from the tee to avoid a well-positioned bunker on the left. A slightly elevated green is protected on both sides by sand, but the large putting surface has many accessible pin locations. Local history suggests that the site of the first tee was once home RAF Rhuddlan and home to over 200 RAF personnel during World War II.
